The box features excellent period graphics and type styles as well as a highly detailed illustration. The artwork is identical on both sides of the box.
The box is undated, but the company awards listed on the box provides a clue to its age: the medals date from 1862 to 1878. When found, it was being used to store deeds from the 1880s.
This piece of ephemera would serve as an nice accent on a prized antique sewing table, or it could be used to store a vintage spool collection.
