This itinerary booklet was issued by the San Diego Chamber of Commerce to the naval committee appointed by the U.S. Congress to investigate naval conditions on the Pacific Coast in 1920.
The U.S. Navy booklet contains the complete itinerary for the Thursday, November 25, to Saturday, November 27, 1920, visit by a list of dignitaries from the visiting congressional delegation, which included U.S. Congressmen from eight states and top military leaders, such as Admiral Hugh Rodman and the Chief of Naval Operations, Robert Coontz.
The booklet also contains the complete list of local San Diego political figures, including the Mayor and city officials.
The booklet lists the detailed itinerary for the visiting party with an hour-by-hour schedule. It also provides in-depth details about a large number of Pacific Coast naval installations, harbors, hospitals, camps, ship yards, depots, and other infrastructure.
