The Auction Rebel writes about his quest to sell the byproduct of disassembled vintage magazines on eBay. Let's be clear: This isn't a practice that I necessarily endorse. That said, however, if you're bent on doing it, the Rebel's post is worth reading. (It also includes a link to an earlier well-reasoned article that explains the magazine disembowelment and reselling business model.)
The Auction Rebel plans to report on the profitability of this activity over the course of the next week or so. I think that's an excellent approach. I'm keen to find out if he thinks it's worth the time, trouble, and expense.
My guess is probably not.
