The Dog Days of August are upon us. This month I celebrate more than 1,200 posts since the blog launched more than four years ago.
August promises to feature some of the best posts in ephemera blog history. First, I have a wonderful line-up of interviews. I'll be talking with several book authors who've recently released ephemera-centric works. There will also be an interview with an artist who uses ephemera in some unique and striking ways. I'm working on a big interview with the Chief Curator of Philately at the Smithsonian National Postal Museum, which promises to be a blockbuster post.
I'm also pleased to announce that there will be a special guest post from the incoming President of the Ephemera Society of America.
Speaking of Dog Days, I'm interested in finding collectors of dog-related ephemera. Anything dog-centric would be welcome--any breed, rain dog, or mutt you wish. I'd like to feature as much dog ephemera in August as I can lay my hands on. So, dog fans, give me a shout.
