Up for bid on eBay is an excellent Mathew Brady mammoth-plate format salt print
of a man standing full-length next to a photographer's chair. On the table next to him is a sculpture and two books.
"While unsigned," says the seller, "this photograph bears the studio rug and the prop sculpture found in many Brady portraits, circa 1850s-1860s."
