Up for bid on eBay is an antique, framed pair of original early 1930s Jazz-age Rolf Armstrong advertising labels, tipped on a black background.
"A dazzling pair of Art Deco original Soda Advertising Americana advertising documents, featuring a pair of smiling and jubilant flappers with prohibition era Kist Soda causing a sparkle in their eyes," says the seller. " Both images are by Rolf Armstrong used as labels & advertising for 'Kist Beverages. Housed in a handsome newer orange metal frame behind anti-glare glass."
According to the listing, this item comes from the remarkable collection of Mike Wooldridge, a lifetime collector & co-author of "Pin Up Dreams," a monograph on Rolf Armstrong that was researched and enthusiastically compiled over many years. Many of these Rolf Armstrong prints, calendars, and advertising die-cut signs were photographed and appeared in the pages of the book itself.
