Topps Tripple Threads President Harding Autograph White House Floorboards

This eBay auction features a very rare encased President Warren G. Harding 2008 Topp's Triple Threads cut-signature and White House Floorboard from the White House.

Harding, of course, was the 29th President of the United States of America. Captured 60% of the vote in the 1920 election as he pledged a "Return To Normalcy" following World War I. He once owned a Minor League team in Marion, Ohio.

Happ's Old Frederick County Courthouse Tree Ornament Winchester VA 1997

Up for bid on eBay is this 1997 collectible ornamentcollectible ornament, featuring the work of Ms. Joanne Happ. It is manufactured by the ChemArt Company of Lincoln, Rhode Island.

The seller says, "The name of this ornament is 'The Old Frederick County Courthouse'...the courthouse on the Loudoun Street walking mall in the City of Winchester (Virginia). Only 750 of this ornament were produced. The ornament is in great condition, comes with the original stand, and is accompanied with certificate of authenticity #58."

I spent a weekend in Winchester, attending a cousin's wedding, and, I must say, it is a town steeped in Civil War history. So much so in fact, that this particular item is listed on eBay under "Civil War-related items" and not Christmas ornaments.
