Up for bid on eBay is this rare lot of four individual "Presidential Baseball Club" photograph tobacco baseball cards produced in 1888 by Duke Cigarette Company of New York to promote their Honest Long Cut brand.
The seller says, "This unusual and comical set of cards shows large heads of U.S. Presidential candidates (and running mates) on top of smaller baseball player bodies. The first card depicts Democratic candidate Grover Cleveland catching and Republican candidate Benjamin Harrison at bat. Second and third images are of Benjamin Harrison and the fourth card shows his running mate Levi Morton...The production of these political 'baseball' cards indicates how deeply Americans were interested in the 1888 election in which Harrison and Morton won by electoral votes but not the popular vote."
