Up for bid on eBay is this early, typed, original letter hand-signed by Bill Wilson, one of the co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA).
The seller says, "Letter is on New York City Alcoholic Foundation / National Headquarters - Alcoholics Anonymous letterhead and dated August 10, 1943, concerning a proposed trip to the Los Angeles area (which did indeed occur a few months later.)"
