Up for bid on eBay is this fantastic original LBJ hand-signed letter
dated 12/23/63 in regard to the JFK assassintion. According to the seller, this orginal letter is signed by President Lyndon B. Johnson (1908-73) on White House letterhead. It was sent to his Texas friend TD Craddock, written just one month after the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
The letter says, "In the past weeks somber though they have been, the one heartening comfort has been the prayers and support given us by patriotic Americans from all walks of life. We, Lady Bird, Lynda, Lucy and I, are so grateful for our friends, those good and loyal friends, like you, who have been such a source of strength over the years..."
