Imagine that you've swallowed a whole bottle of arsenic. Your first thought would surely be, "Antidote!" That's where this handy vintage Poison Antidote and Drug Counterdose Chart comes in.
You see, it's just the thing if you're about to croak after ingesting a vile of poison. Of course, it's also good for drug overdoses.
My favorite part of the chart, however, is the vintage advertisement for Cheracol D. It's ironic, since, if you've ever swallowed any Cheracol D, you'd swear the stuff was poisonous. A spoonful of Cheracol D coming at your face is scary enough to knock any cough right out of your system. Which is a good thing since recent news reports suggests that cough medicines don't really provide much in the way of cough relief. Too bad my mom didn't have that info 30 years ago...I could have done without the spoonfuls of Big D.
Oh, I almost forgot, the antidote for arsenic is #2 on the old chart.
do you have a better resolution scan?
