World's Longest Yardsale

YardsaleThis year marks the 21st anniversary of the "World's Longest Yardsale" sale, which features 450 miles of practically every imaginable type of American ephemera.

The US 127 Corridor Sale started in 1987. It now begins at Defiance, Ohio, and runs South to Chattanooga, Tenn, then switches to the Lookout Mountain Parkway, continuing to Gadsden, Ala. The four-day sale runs August 7-10, 2008.

Thousands of people participate in the sale each year as vendors--turning front lawns into a showcase for ephemera and other collectibles.
