This is an original Russian space suit fabric
for constructing a Sokol K, KV-KV1, or other space suits, according to the adventurous seller offering it up on eBay.
According to the listing, this fabric was used to build emergency space suits in mid-80s. I bet Ronald Reagan had one in his closet. (Of course, Ron's would be made out of American-made, NASA-specified material not this commie cloth.)
I know a very talented fabric artist who could certainly put this material to good use. She once built an entire suit out of nothing but rubber bands. The thing weighed a ton. But it was awesome!
LOL. The language on the eBay listing is worth the price of admission. I wonder where the seller got this stuff. Perhaps out of a vacuum? LOL. This is going to keep me in stitches all day.
